Congratulations to Dave Anderson for his re-election to the Whispering Oaks Board of Directors and to Bette MacDowell on her election as a new member of the board. Dave will continue as president and Bette has been appointed Secretary.

The construction of the new drainage system has been completed.
- Work on Atkinson property on southside
of Whispering Oaks earmarked as a walking park is on hold until money
is available
- St. Augustine Beach City Commissioners
approved a plan for the London tract that includes a public walking
access to the beach. Issues still needs to be brought to public
discussion
- Our community is based on voluntary compliance
of our Covenants and Rules. Please respect your neighbors. No one wants
to play the role of police. It is not the Boards responsibility to uncover
violations and make rules to address every act of human stupidity. The
Board will diligently enforce the Covenants and levy fines when appropriate.
We simply ask that you don't force us to play that role. Try talking
to your neighbors before calling the Board. We all want the same thing,
to protect our property values and live in harmony.
