January 8, 2011
The annual meeting of the Whispering Oaks Homeowners' Association at the Watson Realty Building was called to order at 10:00 am by Bobby Crum, President.
Bobby Crum welcomed all members attending the meeting. He requested that they complete and submit their 2011 WOHA Board of Directors Election Ballots. Bette Mac Dowell announced that members, Bruce and Judy McQuiston, volunteered to count the ballot votes today.
Bobby Crum, President, introduced and thanked the outgoing 2010 Board members:
William Walton, Vice President
John Ragosta, Treasurer
Bette Mac Dowell, Secretary
Bob Parker, Director
Andrew Birchall, Director
The State of the Association was given by Bobby Crum reviewing the year 2010.
John Ragosta, Treasurer, reported that the WOHA maintenance fees have been reduced for 2011 by $50 per lot as a result of reduced vendor expenses. He told of the upgraded electronics installed on both gates which will now function even during an area power failure. He reviewed the WOHA reserves and pump account balances which are in place. He said that these reserve accounts will help offset any special assessments to owners in the future.
Bobby Crum informed the members that future road resurfacing will be a major project in 2011. He also said that extending the fencing along A1A Beach Blvd. will be addressed by the new Board.
Bette Mac Dowell, Secretary, read the results of the election. Andrew Birchall, Steve Cacchio, Jim Kirkham, Bette Mac Dowell and Mike Sherman will serve in 2011 with Bobby Crum as the WOHA Board.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 am.
