Oaks Homeowners’ Association Minutes
From Board Meeting January 26, 2008 Owner, Sandy Kenyon of Lot 33, had emailed a request to exercise her right to inspect and copy the election ballots from the January 19, 2008 General Meeting as stated in Florida Statutes 720.303 (5). President, Dave Anderson, announced that her request has been withdrawn. Dave Anderson suggested that Bette Mac Dowell, Secretary, check with John Ragosta on the correct procedure to post the minutes of the meetings on the WOHA website. Nick Binder reported that Chuck Hardwick Fence & Gates is ready to start the work on the east and west gates as per the revised proposal which was authorized at the January 19, 2008 Board Meeting. Nick also reported that the electric work on our street lights, as previously approved and contracted by Electric Logic, is about to be finalized. Since the January 19, 2008 election of officers, new signature cards are needed for the WOHA bank accounts at Compass Bank. Bob Parker has agreed to sign these this week. Bob also will submit the required corporate forms to the State of Florida regarding the change of officers. Pat Moyer agreed to provide storage for all WOHA official records and ballots during her tenure when needed. Possible access problems for future building on Lot 60 owned by Dave Mullins was discussed. The Board agreed that it is the Building Department's responsibility to oversee any changes of lot lines caused by the extended driveway at Lot 59. The subject of fencing along the Whispering Oaks property lines adjacent to Ewing Street was discussed. A letter will be sent to Max Royle, City Manager and the new Planning Board Chairperson of the City of St. Augustine Beach asking that the requirements of previous City meetings be honored. These requirements stated that the developer erect an eight foot fence along this property line. A motion was made by Dave Anderson to obtain the lowest and most qualified bids for the surveillance cameras at the east entrance. It was seconded by Nick Binder. John Ragosta will be asked to update the WOHA website to include pictures of homes that may have been omitted. Bette Mac Dowell stated that the Bottom Line Yacht mobile sales office was parked overnight at 145 Madrid Street again this week. She was advised to see Gary Larson, Building Department and the City of St. Augustine Beach Code Enforcement Officer. The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 a.m. bmac Jan. 27, 2008
