Minutes From 2010 General Meeting and Board Meeting

January 9, 2010


ANNUAL MEETING MINUTES

The annual meeting of the Whispering Oaks Homeowners' Association at the St. Augustine Beach Library was called to order at 10:00 am by Dave Anderson, President.

Dave Anderson announced that the election of new officers would proceed immediately. Members, Bruce and Judy Mc Quiston, volunteered to count the ballots. The results of the ballot count were announced. Bobby Crum, John Ragosta and Walt Walton will serve as new Board members for 2010.

Dave Anderson introduced guests, Kathi Jones and Michelle Hubbard of Essential Business Services. This locally based company has been contracted by the Board to maintain WOHA related bookkeeping responsibilities.

Newly elected Board member, Bobby Crum, thanked the out-going Board members, Pat Moyer and Dave Anderson, for their many years of service to Whispering Oaks.

The meeting was adjourned at 11 am.

 


BOARD MEETING MINUTES

The Board of Directors of the Whispering Oaks Homeowners' Association met at the St. Augustine Beach Library at 11:30 am following the WOHA Annual Meeting. The following Board members were present: Bobby Crum, Bette Mac Dowell, Bob Parker and John Ragosta.

A motion was made by John Ragosta and seconded by Bob Parker for the 2010 officers as follows:

President: Bobby Crum
Vice President: Walt Walton:
Treasurer: John Ragosta
Secretary: Bette Mac Dowell
Director: Andrew Birchall
Director: Bob Parker

The new slate of officers was accepted as read.


Michele Hubbard of Essential Business Services gave the Board an overview of the bookkeeping responsibilities that the company will be providing WOHA. She informed the Board of the necessary changes that would be needed to update information given to the State of Florida, insurance companies, banks, etc. due to our new slate of officers.

A letter from Florida Power and Light Company was read informing residents that the company will be doing line work in our area within the next few weeks.

Bobby Crum requested that the Board meet again in January.

A motion to adjourn was made by Bobby Crum and seconded by Bette Mac Dowell.

The meeting adjourned at 12:10 pm.
