WHISPERING OAKS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
July 18, 2009 Minutes
Present: Dave Anderson, Pat Moyer, Bob Parker, John Ragosta, Bette Macdowell
Meeting was opened by Dave Anderson with a reading of the June meeting minutes. Bill Griffith recommended the board implement a maintenance schedule for the pump we own for pumping water after flooding. Dave Anderson said he will check with Nick Binder who may have the manal.
Lights north of the front gate were broken as a result of vandalism and need to be replaced. Three new lamps and bulbs need to be replaced.
As a result of recent vandalism to rear gate board discussed idea of installing cameras at Madrid street gate. John Ragosta volunteered to write an RFP that can be sent to vendors for a presentation of options at August meeting.
Pat Moyer brought up need to retain a bookkeeping service to pay bills, send out notices for dues, provide collection services and interface with our accountant. Pat volunteered to write an RFP for bookkeeping vendors.
Andy Birchall, board member overseeing Architectural Review Committee was not in attendance so discussion regarding the less than desireable appearance of various properties was postponed until the August meeting.
