A policy is being
developed that will give homeowners responsibility
for notifying the Board when Realtors are planning open houses that
require the gates to be kept open. The new policy will be announced in
the Autumn Update Newsletter.
Front gate operation has been disrupted lately as a result of grass
interfering with the electronic sensor. Lawn Ranger, the landscape
contractor, will be informed of the need to trim grass more frequently
near the front gate to prevent recurrence.
The Board will send a letter to City Manager Max Royle covering the
following drainage topics: 1. Current status. 2. Anticipated completion
date. 3. Preliminary list of project-caused repairs for which
developers are to be held responsible. 4. Notice of Board's intent to
charge developers for interim pond maintenance.
A letter will be sent to Mark and Melinda Harrison, warning that those
who park on neighborhood streets, or who allow parking on the Commons,
are subject to a fine.
Treasurer Pat Moyer proposed a plan to purchase and connect 10 to 12
new light fixtures to replace the $40 fixtures which are now
deteriorating. Labor would be performed by Electrical Connection, and
total cost would be between $3,000 and $5,000.
BellSouth will be contacted in an effort to improve the quality of
telephone service at the front gate.
Board members noted the need to start preparing for the 2007 annual
budget and election process.
